Abstract. The relationship of insulin resistance, leptin level with vitamin D deficiency in patients with metabolic syndrome has been studied. It was found that in patients with metabolic syndrome, vitamin D deficiency was associated with more pronounced hormonal and metabolic disorders compared to patients with adequate levels of it.
