Abstract. The problems of organizing medical care faced by the countries of the world against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic is discussed. Countries are solving complex issues at the expert level: how to cope with a shortage of resources in the health care system, how to combine the need to reduce the risk of a pandemic spread with timely medical care, which patients are shown primarily face-to-face consultations, examination and treatment, and which patients may receive delayed medical care (and if deferred, then by how much). In the new environment, great expectations are laying down on e-health and telemedicine consultations. The article considers examples of integrating telemedicine into real practice; application problems and prospects in Russia.
Keywords: pandemia, COVID-19, telemedicine, medical care, e-health
