Abstract. The article reviews the data on the quality of life (QOL) of patients with cardiovascular pathology accompanied by anemia as well as the impact of anemia correction on QOL. Studies from Elibrary, PubMed and clinicaltrials.gov databases were analyzed in the period since 2015 till 2020. Anemia has been shown to have a negative impact on QOL of patients with chronic heart failure. There was a little data on the impact of anemia on QOL of patients with coronary artery disease and the impact of anemia correction on QOL of cardiac patients. It is necessary to develop questionnaire validated for patients with anemia and cardiovascular pathology.
Keywords: anemia, quality of life, coronary artery disease, chronic heart failure, questionnaires for assessing the quality of life in cardiac patients with anemia
