Article presents the clinical case of female patient with suddenly arised paroxysmal cardiac rhythm disorders, verified by Holter ECG monitoring. Osteopathic diagnosis revealed numerous functional somatic dysfunctions at different levels, including limitation of diaphragm mobility and motility and pericardium tension. Osteopathic treatment led to a regression of arrhythmias. An explanation of successful treatment from the position of osteopathy is given.
