Current study provides a methodology for the development of scientifically based recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome as the basis for the pathogenesis of fatal complications development in case of various respiratory viral infections, and primarily in infection caused by a new type of coronavirus SARS19. Approaches to the diagnosis and complex treatment of this condition using anticoagulants, fresh-frozen plasma, and plasmapheresis are proposed.
Keywords: disseminated intravascular coagulation, new coronavirus infection, COVID-19, anticoagulants, fresh-frozen plasma, plasmapheresis
