The article deals with the various aspects of treatment of patients with arterial hypertension in view of the updated ESC/ESH Guidelines (2018) and the possibilities of additional device-based methods of treatment, such as renal denervation, stimulation of carotid baroreceptors, denervation of the carotid body, stimulation of the median nerve and iliac arteriovenous anastomosis. Special attention was paid to the non-invasive methods of blood pressure correction, in particular, percutaneous electroneurostimulation.
