The article is devoted to the urgent problem of clinical allergology – the diagnostics and treatment of allergic rhinitis (AR). Data concerning the prevalence of this disease are given, etiology, immunological mechanisms, classification, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis of rhinitis are considered. Modern methods for diagnosing and treating AR are discussed, depending on the severity of clinical course and concomitant diseases presence.
