Undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia is a fairly common variant of a congenital mesenchymal defect, markers of which are chest deformity, congenital bronchiectasis, primary and bullous emphysema of the lungs, spontaneous pneumothorax, tracheobronchial dyskinesia. This article describes a case of pneumomediastinum and pneumothorax, as a variant of an atypical complication of non-severe community-acquired pneumonia in a young patient. It has been suggested that the patient’s regurgitation on the mitral valve and the tricuspid valve 0-1 degrees, as well as the presence of a liquid formation (cyst) of the spleen, may serve as risk factors for hidden pathology of the connective tissue. It cannot be ruled out that undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia contributed to the development of this complication due to subpleural rupture of lung tissue as a result of a grueling, prolonged cough. A feature of this case is the development of atypical and infrequent in the practice of the therapist complications on the background of mild community-acquired pneumonia in a young patient.
