Use of topical antiseptics in case of acute tonsillopharyngitis: estimation of current treatment tendencies and prevention of complications of the disease

Acute tonsillopharyngitis is an acute infectious inflammation of the mucous and lymphatic structures of the oropharynx (palatine tonsils, lymphoid follicles of the posterior pharyngeal wall). The main reason for the appearance of this disease is a viral infection, therefore, according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to use topical drug therapy for the prevention of pain, symptoms of inflammation and contamination of bacterial infection to virial. There are many topical drugs on the market, which in turn belong to various pharmacological groups. The aim of the study to find trends in choosing drugs by patients, measuring dynamics of patients’ recovery, depending on the chosen topical drug at the prehospital stage of treatment.
