In many countries, there is upward trend in the transsexuals and transgender sex change of both transition from male to female (MtF) and from female to male (FtM). Increasing of the transgender patients dictates to the modern doctor different conditions for diagnostic search and requires a consideration of fact in gender change in the choice of further management.
This article describes the clinical case of a patient in the hormonal phase of FtM transgender transition with hyperandrogenism of unverified origin. The reception of replacement therapy with exogenous testosterone was complicated by the erythrocytosis occurrence and secondary arterial hypertension. This clinical case is interesting not only from the point of view to determine further therapeutic tactics, but also by particular ethical approach of the medical personnel to transgender patient maintenance.
